One thing someone might not know about me is I truly believe that all things within this world, even this universe, hold value and therefore should be respected. Humans connection with nature is a very strong bond. I believe the social understanding of our relationships with land should shift from domination to kin.
What was your favourite trip you've taken?
My favourite trip I’ve even taken is probably when I lived in Montreal for 3 months. I was taking a gap year between high school and university and decided, somewhat on a whim, to stay with some friends in Montreal for a bit. Having such a long stretch of time to travel around and see the architecture was amazing! I’d love to go back soon!
What is your favourite dish to make?
I love to cook! My favourite dish to make is spicy teriyaki salmon and cucumber rice bowl. It’s a great dish and very quick and easy. One of my roommates taught me the recipe and we enjoy it together all the time!
Who do you look up to/admire?
I admire my grandmother. Not only is she a kind, smart, beautiful woman, but she also has a quality about her that impresses everyone she meets. This summer I was visiting with some family friends and some of the women who knew my grandmother back in the day, could not stop raving about how elegant and wonderful she is. I think to be adored the way she, means you must be a beam of light!
