My favourite book (series) would be My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante. Originally written in Italian, it’s the story of a friendship between two women throughout their entire lives. Ferrante is such a great writer and I would recommend any of her books.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Probably bad TV. I love reality shows and cheesy teen dramas too much to admit.
What was your favourite trip you’ve taken?
During the summer of 2023, I travelled solo through the Balkans region and then up into Italy where I met up with my Ouma. It was wonderful to travel with her. She knows so much about art and history. It was like I had my own personal tour guide.
What is one thing you have always wanted to learn or know how to do?
I am currently trying to learn how to ski. I feel it’s necessary to be competent in at least one winter sport if you’re Canadian.
