After living and working in NYC for the past 15 years, Vivi now calls Vancouver Canada home. She originally moved to New York after graduating Cosmetology School, to pursue a career in the fashion industry. After completing apprenticeships with renowned salon owners ;Becca at Robert Leonard & Danyale at Good Hair Seattle respectively, Vivi went on to master the art of the Blowout on the Upper East Side, rock and roll hair colour in Brooklyn, and continued her love of dry cutting with Ruth Roche at Rare. She has spent her whole career doing both hair and makeup, but does consider herself "hair first."
Vivi’s easy-going, humourous presence on set, as well as her signature undone hair, clean dewy skin and impeccable men's grooming, has won the loyalty of commercial and fashion clients alike. From LL Bean, Macy's, Talbots, Avon, We Love Coco (Chanel), Target, Destination Maternity/Pea in the Pod, Garnet Hill, Bare Necessities and Kohls among others.
Her work has been featured in numerous editorials including Purple Fashion Magazine, Tia Cibani, Earnshaws, Smallish, Inked, The Knot Magazine, Love Letters and Awkward World. Celebrity Clients include Iris Apfel, Tituss Burgess, Hunter McGrady, to Ashley Graham. Vivi has continued her education at teaching salons in NYC, Classes with Pasquale Ferranti at Ion and Tiffani Patchett, Lena Ott and Amy Farid at Suite Caroline.
In her time off she enjoys hanging with her off-set family (kids, husband etc), knitting, hiking, traveling (pre Covid), eating delicious things, yoga, obsessing about jewelry and keeping up with friends near and far.
