I really enjoyed reading the blog Style Finds, fashion blogger Shallom Johnson interviews Tara Jean about booking the Chanel Couture show. Below is an excerpt from it on how she got that great picture (see our previous post) of her and Karl Lagerfeld…
So I went for the fitting and took my camera. When I got there they did hair and makeup. Then led me to another room and dressed me and accessorized. Last they took me into another room where – guess who was waiting to give approval. After KL approved they sent me downstairs to take photos, which by the way if you checked the detail shots on style.com I had closed toed shoes not open toed…?? Anyways, after photos they said I could change. So I threw on my clothes then ran back in with my camera to ask for a photo with Karl. Everyone seemed a little surprised and I later found out I was the first girl to ask for a photo with him at a fitting! He just smiled and said I could have one so his photographer took one with my camera, and then another with his.
