What does Liz do in her spare time when she’s not busy developing and launching the careers of top models???? Well she spends some of her free time playing around with the images she has taken at work, turning these beautiful girls into beautiful works of art. Liz’s first digital images of a model capture their vulnerability, innocence and beauty. Based on these first images Liz has created pieces which are whimsical and exciting. Splashes of colour and texture create unique jewels. Each piece is 9×12.

“I was supposed to go to Emily Carr Art School but ended up modeling instead. My creative side comes out in my eye for scouting, my digitals of the models and seeing the beauty in everyone. This is just an extension of that process”. Keep your eye out for more.

In New York last week for a booking, Kate also attended the Le Sportsac Launch with Pat McGrath at their Soho Store.

Emma Hansen has just arrived in New York and is busy with castings and gosees. So far a great response and everyone loves the creative she did in Vancouver just before she left. Photography by Matthew Burditt, with  hair and makeup by LucyAnne and styling by Deanna, both Lizbell artists.

Last Wednesday, the Lizbell models took part in Jason Matlo’s informal bridal show at the Vancouver Shangri-La Hotel. It was intimate evening with a classic tea room style presentation offering guests a close up look at the beautiful dresses and stunning models. It was a Lizbell exclusive show, featuring our top talent and great new faces.
