Tara Jean is off to Paris! After working hard on building her book her in Vancouver, Tara Jean is leaving for Paris. We are looking forward to tracking her progress there.

One of the great advantages of modeling is travelling abroad. Here’s an update on a few of our models:

While they are now on their way back home, Aleisha and Allison have just in finished a two month contract in Asia.  Here they are visiting a Korean Palace during their free time.

Emma  just arrived in Greece. She is already booked for Harpers Bazaar shooting in Cyprus.

This past Wednesday, on a beautiful summer night, Vancouver fashionistas and art patrons gathered for a night to celebrate fashion and art.

Brad Gough’s Eastside studio was transformed into the setting for an intimate presentation of artist David Burns fashion inspired paintings, the latest collection by Evan & Dean and of course the launch of Zink’s Summer Issue.

Zink Summer issue is out!

The agency is hard at work preparing for their upcoming event “Just say NO to Flats ON the RUNWAY”. The evening will celebrate the summer issue of Zink magazine, with two editorials featuring top models Kate Bock and Emma Hansen, with hair, makeup and styling by Lizbell  artists.

The evening is also an opportunity to showcase our up and coming models at the agency. Liz was inspired by the weekly runway classes she holds for the new faces at the agency. So together with choreographer Tracey Pincott, local design duo Evan & Dean, and the creative direction of Johnny Bellas for hair and makeup a fashion show is in the works. 

How did we come up with the title “Just say NO to flats ON the RUNWAY” you ask? Painter David Burns inspired by his partnership with Liz Bell has made the human figure and fashion his latest focus. The title comes from one of his latest paintings. His work is the background upon which the feature editorial in Zink was shot and provides inspiration for the fashion show. 

After the long dark Vancouver winter, full of economic doom and gloom, we really felt it was time to celebrate sunnier prospects.
